Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using Devaneia. By using the app, you agree to them. Take your time reading; if anything is unclear, get in touch.

1. What Devaneia is

Devaneia is a dream journal for Android. You tell a dream, by typing or by voice, and get a reading (an interpretation) written by artificial intelligence. If you want, you also get an AI-generated image of the dream.

Devaneia is provided by its developer, who you can reach at samilis.contact@gmail.com.

2. Who can use it

Devaneia is for people aged 18 or older. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18.

3. Anonymous use and accounts

You can record your first dream without an account. In that case, we create an anonymous session on your device. Anonymous data with no activity is deleted automatically after 180 days.

To keep using Devaneia, you can create an account with Google or, when available, with your e-mail and a one-time code. When you accept these terms, we record which version you accepted and when.

You are responsible for access to your account and your phone. If you notice any misuse, let us know.

4. Acceptable use

When using Devaneia, you agree not to:

• submit illegal content or use the service for illegal purposes;
• try to access other people's data or parts of the system that are not yours;
• use bots, scripts or any automation to send requests to the service;
• try to get around usage limits, for example by creating multiple accounts or sessions;
• disrupt, overload or try to bypass Devaneia's security;
• resell or commercially exploit the service without permission.

Content you send goes through an automatic safety check. If a dream suggests you may be at risk, Devaneia shows a care message with the CVV contact instead of a reading.

5. Free use and quotas

Devaneia is currently free, with usage quotas. This means there is a limited number of readings and images per month. Quotas may change.

Paid plans may be offered in the future. If so, they will have their own terms, presented before any charge.

6. AI-generated content

Readings and images are created automatically by artificial intelligence models. So:

• they may be wrong, inaccurate or not make sense to you;
• they do not represent the opinion of a professional;
• they should not be the basis for important decisions about your health, money, relationships or any other area of your life.

Use readings as a starting point for thinking about yourself, not as the truth.

7. Your content

The texts of your dreams and your answers belong to you. Devaneia does not take ownership of them.

For the service to work, you give us a limited, royalty-free permission, valid while you use Devaneia, to store, process and send this content to the providers we need (such as the AI service that creates the reading and the image). We use this permission only to provide the service to you. We never use your dreams to train AI models.

8. Generated images

You may use the images generated from your dreams for personal purposes, such as keeping, printing or sharing them with anyone you like. AI-generated images may, by chance, resemble other works or people. Please use good judgment.

9. Service availability

Devaneia is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it working well, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, error-free or uninterrupted. We may change, pause or remove features at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Devaneia is not responsible for:

• decisions made based on readings or images;
• indirect damages caused by using, or being unable to use, the service;
• failures of third-party services, connections or your device.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code or other laws that cannot be waived by contract.

11. Termination

You can stop using Devaneia whenever you want and delete your account in the app, under Perfil > Conta e privacidade > Excluir conta (Profile > Account and privacy > Delete account). This deletes your dreams, readings, images and profile.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms, especially the acceptable use rules.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When a change is important, we will let you know in the app or on this website. If you keep using Devaneia after the notice, you agree to the new version.

13. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute will be resolved in Brazil, in the courts of your place of residence, as provided by Brazil's Consumer Protection Code.
